Minitab is a statistical package that has some important advantages for students studying statistics for the first time. TI-Interactive! is a multipurpose software tool for doing mathematics that includes enough statistical functionality for a minimal exposure. The former tool would cost some new money for a site license while the latter is currently available to our students.

The speakers will demonstrate both software systems so that the audience will have a more informed basis for participating in deciding which way we should go.
