NMU STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE 2008 ARGONNE SYMPOSIUM


November 2007 Argonne Symposium

In November, twenty-seven students from NMU will attend the 19th Annual Argonne symposium for Undergraduates in Science, Engineering and Mathematics.

Many students will present their research papers and publications to an audience of their peers, Argonne scientists, graduate students and university faculty.

ACM REGIONAL PROGRAMMING CONTEST

The ACM North Central North American Regional Programming Contest is set for Saturday, November 15, 2008 in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan.  The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science will be sending about 15 students to compete in this regional competition.

CS495-1 Database Web Applications (CRN 11346)

The course covers developing Web sites using advanced form controls and database objects using C# and Visual Basic programs.
