- Goals:
- Create a web page
with different types
of hyperlinks,
- Use a table for
simple layout of content,
- Serve up your web page on the WWW.
- Details:
Choose your own topic
for a web site. Create a main web page (HTML file), named
index, default, or main, with the following features (grading
categories):
- Text
that is a link to a remote site.
- An
image that is a link to a remote site.
- An
“thumbnail” (size) image that is a link to a larger
version of the image in the web page.
- A
table of data with multiple rows and columns.
- Put
your entire A3 folder (include all files) on a web (http) server
such as myweb.nmu.edu, keeping
track of the URL! Use an FTP client or My Network Places (MS
Windows).
- Good
style. (see Assignments 1 and 2 for guidelines on style).
