QUESTIONS:

SENSORS

(1)  How many and what type?

(2)  How are the minerals detected?

EFFECTORS

(3)  Drive:  compare to your rover's drive (similarities, differences; be brief!)

(4)  Are there any other effectors besides drive motors?

PROCESSOR

(5)  Find the processor.  Compare size to Stamp I (bigger, smaller, or about same...)

(6)  This rover implements basic teleoperation AND some simple autonomous behavior (think of the sensors).  Whenever you have both a human and a processor making decisions, there is a need for integration of control (e.g., conflict resolution).  How is this handled in the museum rover?  Give an example of conflict and how it would be resolved.

POWER

(7)  What type of battery technology is used (Lithium, Nickel Cadmium, Nickel Metal Hiydride, Lead Acid, etc.)?

(8)  How many battery cells?

FURTHER INVESTIGATION

(9)  Who makes this thing?  Can you get a website, address, or phone number?
