Views from our Flat in Hanspaulka

All of these shots were taken from our flat. They are not great shots (the telephoto shots don’t

do justice to the “roominess” of the area), but they give you a sense of where we live.

First view, this is a telephoto lens shot of the city center off in the distance, and the hills beyond.

Second view, this is a telephoto lens shot of the houses across the valley.

Third view, this is the house directly to the east of us; note the spectacular staircase.

Fourth view, this is a view directly to the south.

Fifth view, this is a view directly to the north; note the density of greenery.

Sixth view, this is a Magpie on the roof of our neighbor to the north (you won’t see this behavior in North American Magpies).
