Birds of the Western Palearctic

148 species photographed

Non passeriformes birds of Europe.

Passeriformes birds of Europe.

I have not yet birded Europe properly. But I have brought my camera along on various trips to Europe and birded when I could squeeze it in. You will find photos of birds on these pages taken in Åland, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina (both), Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Israel (not geographically Europe, but usually considered to be part of Europe for bird lists), Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Scotland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and Wales. My Western Palearctic list now stands at 245 species.
