Glaucous Gull in the U.P.

Larus hyperboreus

Like Iceland Gull, Glaucous Gull can be found in small numbers in the U.P. from October through April. First and second cycle birds are most common, but older birds are around, too. The Dafter Dump and Marquette are the best places for this gull, although it may be found anywhere gulls gather.
