An idyllic, sun-kissed setting on the Riviera, hard against the Western Alps, along the sea, alas, together with eye-popping (sometimes nauseating and gaudy) displays of immense wealth, quiet lanes, a roaring Formula One circuit—the Principality has to be seen to be believed.
