Yellow–bellied Flycatcher in the U.P.

Empidonax flaviventris

Widespread across the U.P., in spruce bogs and muskegs, but shy and unassuming, so easily overlooked. Listen for its Ōche-lekĶ song, and look for it skulking low, near the ground (itÕs a ground nester).
