Yellow Rail in the U.P.

The best place in the U.P. to see, or at least to hear, a Yellow Rail is Seney National Wildlife Refuge, where they breed annually. The best/easiest place to find this rail at Seney is along the auto tour. Check with the ranger (or follow the U.P. birdnet listserve), as exact locations change each year.
