I'm a professor at Northern Michigan University, in Marquette Michigan, where I teach Computer Science. Most often I teach networking and operating systems classes, but every semester seems to bring a new surprise. My research these days has involved Linux, although I'm still quite interested in file systems.
I have a some hobbies, most importantly flying small planes, traveling, and playing basketball. Traveling is great!
The most interesting things to be found here are files from the classes I teach (students go here). I used to run an art archive (it was one of the largest in the world) but too many people caused me grief. Oh well.
I'm chairperson of the Computer Science committee (which is of course a movie star life).
The best way to contact me is via email, but feel free to stop by. The departmental phone number is 227-2020. I'm often in my office from 4-5pm.
