Logic Bombs and Trapdoors

Definition:  Write a program they need, but add extra code just for you.

Difficulty Rating:  If you work for them, and they don't do code audits, this works well.

Methods:

Idea:  Send them an update of the operating system.  Let them install it.  Steal the nuclear secrets.
Problem:  The packaging better be believable.  The secret service will toss you in jail.

Idea:  Write the payroll program.  Have it delete the payroll database if the authors id number is ever missing two weeks in a row.
Problem:  The resulting lawsuit.  You're subsequent unemployability.

Idea:  Write a library program.  It automatically disables itself on a specific date.  Withhold the source code until you're payed.
Problem:  The resulting lawsuit.  Your firm's subsequent reputation.
