ABA Area Birds
Below,
are links to photos I’ve made of 706 ABA area species, arranged, for the most
part, in accordance with the ABA
checklist. My ABA list now stands at 759;
my ABA continental list is at 734; and my Lower 48 list is at 727. But as with
most birders, my emphasis is on the local. This means that most of these photos
were made in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (where I currently live) or in central
Indiana (where I used to live). But you will also find photos I’ve made while
traveling elsewhere in the U.S. (I have photographed birds in 45 different
states). All photos are clearly marked with location and date. The quality of
most of these photos is decent; the few exceptions are of rare or
hard-to-photograph species. You may find more of my general birding stuff, here.
