Asunción

October–November 2022

Asunción is a short flight from São Paulo, and well worth a visit. One of the oldest cities in South America, and in the heart of the continent, it has the feel of an archetype to it. Walkable, with fascinating monuments (some of them quite old, by New World standards, at least), warm people, good food, this bustling city has an appealing vibe to it. If you get the chance, go!
