Another view, digiscoped with iPhone, Border Patrol corral area, just outside of Bensten Rio Grande Valley State Park, Hidalgo County, Texas, 13 December 2018; here is a shot I made with my DSLR camera. Both photos were made at distance in the challenging light of sunrise. Notice the horizontal markings on the bird’s belly and the vertical markings on the bird’s throat and chest.
