Greetings! I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Northern Michigan University . At NMU I teach courses, conduct research, and promote the field of computer science to the various communities around me (campus, town, region, state, and the universe beyond!).

My teaching interests include Artficial Intelligence, Theory of Computation, 3D Game Technologies, and Robotics.

My research focuses on Evolutionary Computation, Evolutionary Robotics, Synthetic Ecologies, Emergent Coevolution, and Artificial Life.
