Hoary Redpoll in the U.P.

To see Hoary Redpolls in the U.P., use the same strategy you use for Common Redpolls. Hoaries, of course, are much less common than are, well, Commons. But most winters at least some are here. Your best strategy is to stake out bird feeders where they’ve been seen.
